A lot of people have asked me how I came up with my brand name. After all, it has nothing to do with my own name and it's rather random. In fact, I'm still trying to work out if my brand name should be Chic Infinity or ChicInfinity. For those of you who are interested, I think I'm sticking with Chic Infinity and ChicInfinity is just going to be my username. Anyway, it took a while for me to come up with the name as there were quite a few parameters for me to factor in:
1) Is it available as a gmail account name?
2) if I search my shop name in google, how many search results come back (If you search Chic infinity on google, you'll see that my twitter account is the first result followed by my shop)
3) Does it reflect what I want to sell
4) Is there something in the name that I can leverage should I want to open a second store (I went with the Infinity idea. Hence my second shop is called QuirkyInfinity. It doesn't come up as well with Google search results but I have a link to it on my Chic Infinity shop so that's ok)
After multiple tries, I finally found my Chic Infinity combination which I'm pretty happy with. How did you come up with your shop name?

I like your shop name and I think it goes with what you sell. As for my shop name, my name is Niki and I feel like life is a continual learning process. Something we are always striving to make better. A 'project' if you will. Hence, "The Niki Project". It just shows how my shop and blog are a part of my journey.
I came up with my shop name - AuroraRose - because I have always loved both names for a start. Aurora is the name of the princess in Sleeping Beauty and I love roses as flowers which is in-keeping with my products as I make roses out of ribbons for hair accessories. It's an usual name and I think it sounds quite vintagey which, again, goes with my products. Plus (always got to think of the practicalities!) it was free on Etsy, Google, Twitter etc.. And everyone always says how lovely it is so I am very happy with it!
